Tropical depression: Three citizens detained in Dhofar

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has detained three citizens who were crossing one of the flooded wadis in Dhofar governorate .

A statement issued online by the ROP said: "Dhofar Governorate Police Command, has detained three citizens who were crossing a wadi and putting themselves at risk. They were detained after they were rescued by the rescue teams and legal measures were taken against them."

A statement issued online by the Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance (PACDA) said: "Rescue teams at the Civil Defense and Ambulance Administration in Dhofar Governorate managed to save three citizens who were trapped in their vehicle in a wadi in wilayat of Thumrait and they are in good health."
