Muscat: There will be chances of isolated rains with occasional thundershowers and fresh winds over Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas, the Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA) said.
In its weather forecast, PACA said: “Mainly clear skies over the Sultanate with chances of convective clouds development and isolated rain occasionally thundershowers and fresh winds over Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas towards afternoon and evening may be extended to the coastal areas of Oman Sea. Chances of late night to early morning low clouds along the parts of the coastal areas of Arabian Sea. "
The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 35 degrees Celsius and 30 degrees in Muscat, 34 degrees and 28 degrees in Salalah, 40 degrees and 31 degrees in Khasab, 35 degrees and 27 degrees in Sohar, 40 degrees and 29 degrees in Sur, 39 degrees and 26 degrees in Nizwa, 41 degrees and 30 degrees in Ibri and 41 degrees and 30 degrees in Buraimi.
The Oman News Agency (ONA) said, “The highest temperature expected on Saturday is 44 degrees in wilayat of Thumrait, and the lowest is 16 degrees in Jabal Shams.”
