Omani doctor to be one of main speakers at Washington cardiology conference

Washington: A doctor from Oman has been chosen as one of the main speakers at a prestigious event to be held in Washington.
Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Balushi, senior specialist paediatric cardiology in the National Heart Centre at the Royal Hospital, will be one of the main speakers at the annual meeting of the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.
His paper has been chosen by the scientific board from more than 700 research papers submitted by researchers from all over the world in the field of cardiovascular magnetic resonance.
Dr. Abdullah is a board certified paediatric cardiologist and has an advanced fellowship training in cardiovascular MRI, as well as cardiovascular computed tomography (CT) from Germany.
He has also presented a number of research papers in MRI cardiology in France and Germany and his research paper in Germany has been selected as one of the best five research papers at the annual conference for cardiology and cardiac surgery that was held in Germany in February 2016.
