Oman crime: Nine held on drugs trafficking charges

Muscat: Nine suspects - including women - were arrested by the Directorate General of Narcotics Control for their alleged roles in an international drugs gang as well as possession, peddling and abuse of drugs.
An ROP senior official said, “Their apartment was raided and we found crystal methamphetamine hidden in different parts of the apartment.”
The ROP advised property owners to keep tabs on people renting their properties and report any illegal activity.
