Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister received a telephone call from Dr. Johann Wadephul, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The two ministers discussed a number of regional issues of common interest and exchanged views on efforts to resume freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea.
They also reviewed ways to support efforts aimed at reducing tension and escalation, with a view to enhancing prospects for regional security and stability.
