Temperature set to drop in Oman

Muscat: There will be relatively cold weather with mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with temperatures varying from 1 degree Celsius in Saiq, to 28 degrees in Salalah.

Temperatures will be 18 degrees in Khasab, 19 degrees in Ibri, 20 degrees in Buraimi, Ibra, and Rustaq, 21 degrees in Muscat, 22 degrees in Nizwa, Suhar, Sur, and Haima, and 24 degrees in Masira.

According to Oman Meteorology Department, “There will be relatively cold weather and mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate. Few parts like Musandam, Al Buraimi and the coastal areas of Oman Sea are expected to be cloudy with chances of isolated rain. Chance of dust rising wind over deserts and open areas and late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches over Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah and Al Wusta governorates is expected.”

“Over most of the Sultanate wind will be northwesterly light to moderate and occasionally fresh," they added.
