Emir of Qatar departs for Oman to pay homage to HM Sultan Qaboos

Doha: The Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has departed Doha for Muscat to pay homage to the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A statement from the Qatar News Agency, the country’s state-run news agency, said, “HH the Emir left Doha heading to the sisterly Sultanate of Oman to offer condolences on the death of Sultan Qaboos bin Said.”
