India, Oman hold joint naval exercise

Goa: The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), represented by several RNO vessels military vessels of the Indian Navy, are conducting a joint naval drill (Sea Breeze), with the assistance of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) jets in the Indian state of Goa.
This drill, which lasts till January 10, comes within the framework of the annual training plans pursued by the RNO.
It aims at exchange of naval expertise with the navies of friendly countries and sustaining the levels of readiness of the RNO fleet and its personnel in various marine disciplines.
