Two-year-old Pakistani girl dies in road accident in Oman

Muscat: A two- year-old Pakistani girl died in a road accident in Ruwi while she was crossing the road with her mother yesterday.
Sohaibha Aurangazeb was hit by a truck. Her mother Waheedha Aurangazeb has also suffered injuries in the accident and is undergoing treatment at Khoula Hospital.
The accident happened at around 6:45pm.
"Waheedha and Sohiabha had gone to meet their relative admitted to Badr Al Samaa hospital in Ruwi. After visiting the relative, they crossed the road to Masjid and from there, while crossing to KFC, they were hit by the truck," Azra Akeem, Pakistan Social Club women wing official, told Times of Oman quoting the relatives.
"I will be visiting Waheedha at hospital," Azra added. Government statistics reveal that in October this year, 349 accidents were registered, compared to 303 in September and 326 in August.
