Muscat: Pakistani ambassador. Ali Javed visited the headquarters of the Times of Oman in Muscat recently and held a cordial meeting with Mohamed Issa Al Zadjali, the Editor-in-Chief of the Times of Oman and Chairman of the Muscat Media Group.
The Ambassador briefed Zadjali on the bilateral relations that draw their strength from a historical kinship, tied through a unique blood-bond dating back to the pre-Islamic era, and highlighted the convergence of a strategic vision between the people and leaderships in both countries.
The ambassador recalled with respect and appreciation the services rendered towards the cause of Pakistan-Oman friendship by late Essa bin Mohammed Al Zedjali, the founder of the Times of Oman, and praised the paper’s long-standing commitment for consolidation of bilateral ties.

The 90-minute-long meeting concluded with the ambassador presenting to Zadjali an advance copy of the Special Edition of Embassy Newsletter on “Sultanate of Oman: National Day” that showcases a wide range of festivities and events to mark the 46th National day of Oman, organized by the Pakistani community, the PIA, the HBL, the Pakistan Social Club, the Pakistan School System and private educational institutions with their roots in Pakistan, including the Beaconhouse City School as well as American Lycetuff.
