Huawei Honor 8 offers value for money

Muscat: Honor 8, a sub-brand of the Chinese manufacturer Huawei, is the result of research and development efforts of the company in introducing the best technology for the end users. Most of the features are state-of-the-art aimed at meeting the growing expectations of aspiring customers.
Honor 8, a likeable mid-price phone with some extra perks, features same dual rear camera setup like Huawei P9. It has an all glass design. The new smartphone, which is the successor to Huawei's Honor 7, was launched from the second half of this year across the world.
The Huawei Honor 8 is powered by 2.3GHz octa-core processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM memory. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the smartphone packs a 12-megapixel dual camera.
The Huawei Honor 8 runs on Android 6.0 and is powered by a 3000mAh battery. Although the battery charges fast, the battery life is not that great.
Honor 8 has an innovative design that looks similar to the rest of Huawei’s phones, but with plenty of attractive new elements to fill in those boring gaps. There is a metal frame that sits in between two 2.5D sheets of glass and while many look the other way, one has to hold this device to feel the quality and craftsmanship that goes into it.
The Huawei Honor 8 is a dual SIM smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G.
As far as display is concerned, the Honor 8’s 5.2 inch full screen is fairly good. It does not really get bright enough in the sun, viewing angles are very good if not outstanding, and colours are clearly oversaturated with no possibility to adjust the profile. In short, the Honor 8’s screen gets the job done.
It has built-in custom smart key functions that enable the users to customer their favourite applications in one click, two clicks or click and hold. Besides, the 3D finger print sensor provides one of the best security standards and protect privacy.
All of these things are paired with Honor's well known value for money proposition, so the smartphone is certainly very promising.
