Muscat: 100 students and their supervisors left for Qatar to support Oman football team who will face Bahrain in their opening at the 24th edition of Gulf Cup in Doha today.
A statement issued online by the Oman School Sport Association said: “100 students will witness the Gulf Cup in Doha.”
“This came in coordination between the Oman School Sports Association and the Qatar School Sports Association. Students between the ages of 9 to 17 years will take part in the event and attend the Omani team's match with Bahrain, which will be held on today Wednesday evening,” the statement said.
The students will also participate in the fun sport marathon held at Aspire Park on the second day, Thursday Morning. The delegation will return to Muscat on Thursday evening, 28 November 2019.
