Muscat: Tropical cyclone Kyarr is now located about 600 km off the coastline of the Sultanate and shows no signs of weakening, still being classified as a category 4 tropical cyclone.

The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said in its last update, "The Tropical System "KYARR" is in continuous movement in the westerly/northwesterly direction. It is still classified as a Category 4 tropical cyclone. Its center is about 600km away from Ras Madrakah and the closest rainy clouds are at a distance of about 360 km."
