Tropical storm Kyarr evolves into cyclone

Muscat: Tropical storm Kyarr evolved into a first-class tropical cyclone east of the Arabian Sea on Saturday morning.

According to an alert published by the Public Authority for Civil Aviation, ".....Winds of 65-70 knots around the center.”

A statement by PACA said: “Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with advection of high and medium clouds over coastal areas of Arabian Sea and chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches formations along most of the coastal areas.”
