NBO Golf Classic Tournament kicks off in Oman

Muscat: The National Bank of Oman (NBO) Golf Classic Tournament “The European Challenge Tour” kicked off on Wednesday at al Mouj Golf under the auspices of Ahmed bin Nasser Al Mahrzi, Minister of Tourism, in the presence of Sheikh Sa'ad bin Mohammed al Mardoof al- Saadi, Minister of Sports Affairs, Mohamed Mahfoudh al- A'rdHi, NBO Chairman of Board of Directors, a number of sports personalities.

The opening ceremony included a number of programs and events, as well as competitions of the first day of the tournament, which witnessed the participation of 45 players from around the world, who will compete until November 5th in the last rounds of the tournament, which was named Road to Oman.

The organizing committee of the tournament set up on the sidelines of the tournament an educational program for students of schools by involving them in the first day of the tournament, along with an educational program supervised by specialized team, in addition to organizing a number of training programs during the days of the tournament.
