Football: Oman, Jordan play out 1-1 draw in friendly

Muscat: A missed penalty by Ahmed Mubarak ‘Kanu’ saw Oman settling for a 1-1 draw in a friendly against Jordan at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher on Friday.
Qasim Said opened the account for Oman with an opportunistic goal in 30th minute but Jordan through Abu Amara equalised in the 33rd minute.
In the second half Kanu messed up with the penalty.
The Juan Ramon Lopez Caro coached Oman preparing for Asian Cup qualifiers and Gulf Cup will play Bahrain on October 11.
