Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has received a cable of thanks from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in reply to His Majesty’s condolences cable on the death of Prince Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

In his cables, King Salman expressed his thanks for His Majesty the Sultan’s generous feelings and sincere prayers, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the bereaved’s soul in peace and protect His Majesty against all harms.

Emir of Kuwait

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has sent a cable of congratulations to Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait on the occasion of him being recovered from the medical setback and the success of the medical check-up he underwent. In his cable, His Majesty expressed his sincere congratulations along with his best wishes of good health and well-being to Sheik Sabah, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant him a long life to lead the brotherly people of Kuwaiti towards further progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.



Hungary

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has sent a cable of congratulations to President Dr Janos Ader of the Republic of Hungary on the occasion of his country’s National Day. In his cable, His Majesty expressed his sincere congratulations along with his best wishes to President Ader and the friendly people of Hungary.



Governor-General of Australia

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has received a cable of thanks from Gen. David Hurley, Governor-General of Australia in reply to His Majesty’s congratulatory cable to him on the occasion of him being appointed and swearing-in as a new Governor-General for his country.

In his cable, Gen. Hurley expressed his thanks and appreciation for His Majesty the Sultan’s congratulations and best wishes to him and the friendly people of his country.
