Muscat: Citizens and residents of Oman are in for a treat, as a recreational event is coming their way to Muscat next week. Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN), the executive arm of the Sultanate for tourism development, has announced that it will organise a recreational event during Eid Al-Adha break. This will be done in cooperation with Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC), as part of its effort to boosting local domestic tourism. The event titled ‘Ayood’ will be held on Thursday, 15 August in the atrium of the OCEC. The event aims to promote Eid traditions and culture to Omani and non-Omani and to bring joy to all during Eid holidays in Muscat. The organisers have put together a fun-packed program of events and initiatives for children and youngsters make some great memories. The entertainment includes traditional band, face painting, Henna, fun activities for children and other stage activities. The event will kick-off at 5.00 pm and will aim to spread joy during the fourth day of the Eid as part of OMRAN's efforts in the area of social responsibility.
