Lahore: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will meet US President Donald Trump later this month on 22 July, in Washington, D.C.

This will be Imran Khan’s first visit to the US since coming to power last year and came at Trump's invitation, Pakistani Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal said at a weekly briefing, adding: “ The focus will be to refresh the bilateral relationship".

Last month, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that President Trump had invited Prime Minister Khan in June but he could not undertake the visit because of the budget session.
