Astana: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister met today with Murat Nurtileu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and means of enhancing cooperation especially in economic, cultural and tourism fields. They also touched on means of boosting diplomatic cooperation between the two countries.
Both sides pointed out that they look forward to the upcoming meeting of the joint economic committee between the two countries during this year.
The two ministers discussed several issues and developments on the regional and international arenas. They also reiterated their backing of peaceful efforts that are exerted to achieve peace, stability and justice on the basis of international law.
Furthermore, the two sides signed a roadmap for cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries. This move aims to enhance joint coordination, develop partnerships in various fields of mutual interest and boost diplomatic relations to serve mutual interests.
The meeting was attended by Mohammed Abdullah Al Bahrani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Kazakhstan and several officials from both sides.
