Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion has introduced the service of Mobile laboratories for fuel pump testing as to ensure timely response and credibility in measurement of the quantity of fuel and the type of fuel offered to consumers.

Emad bin Khamis Al Shukaili, Director General of the Directorate General of Specifications and Metrology at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion said the mobile laboratories service is the first service of its type in Oman and is the second at the GCC States’ level.
