Kuwait: Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait received at Bayan Palace today Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister who is on a visit to Kuwait to take part in the 10th round of Oman-Kuwait Joint Committee.
The meeting reviewed the distinguished, bilateral relations between the two countries and explored means of promoting them in various political, economic and cultural fields.
The two sides touched on a range of regional and international issues of common concern. They underlined the necessity of backing international efforts to halt the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. They also stressed the importance of limiting the serious escalation in the region and promoting peaceful political solutions in a manner that restores stability and peace for all.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Hashil Al Maskari, Head of GCC and Regional Neighbourliness Department, Dr. Saleh Amer Al Kharousi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait and officials from both sides.
