Oman’s tallest flagpole in Al Khuwair nears completion

Muscat: The highest flagpole in the Sultanate of Oman, at a height of 126 meters in Al Khuwair square project is nearing completion, said Muscat Municipality.

Muscat Municipality said: “The municipality in cooperation with Jindal Shadeed Company, is implementing the final stages of installing the flagpole in Al Khuwair square‬⁩ project, which will witness the installation of the highest flagpole in the Sultanate of Oman, at a height of 126 meters.”

The Al Khuwair square project is a community participation initiative that involves both the municipality and the private sector. The project aims to enhance tourism, promote development, and add recreational and sports facilities to the area. The surrounding area will also be developed with green spaces, walkways, and a bicycle path.
