The excitement of the T Quiz League Season 1 continues to grow, with Match 3 delivering a spectacular showdown between Indian School Sohar and Indian School Al Seeb. This episode kept the audience tuned in right till the end as both teams battled it out in a contest so close it required a tie-breaker to determine the winner.
Representing Indian School Sohar were Pratyush, Agnes, and Samanvi, coached by Ms. Aarti Bokil. Indian School Al Seeb’s lineup included Abhirakh, Ayisha, and Advika, guided by Mr. Binu T. Johny. Both teams demonstrated exceptional knowledge and quick thinking throughout the competition.
Challenging Questions Across Diverse Topics
The quiz featured an array of intriguing questions that tested the participants' knowledge across various subjects. One question asked, "What is the name of the dagger, which is a national symbol of Oman and also a part of the traditional dress for Omani men?" The correct answer, "khanjar," highlighted the teams’ awareness of Omani culture.
Another question brought modern communication into focus: "The internet abbreviation ICYMI is useful to update a friend who joined the conversation a bit late. What does it stand for?" The answer, "In Case You Missed It," reflected the importance of staying current in the digital age.
A fitness-related question asked, "What popular fitness program, developed in the 1990s, combines aerobic exercises with music and dance movements, creating a dynamic and energetic workout that has gained worldwide popularity?" The correct answer, "Zumba," showed the teams’ familiarity with global health trends.

The T Quiz League has been made possible thanks to the generous support of its partners, including MHD/INEOS Grenadier, Vodafone, Lulu, Muscat Pharmacy, Malabar Gold, New India Assurance, Oman Oasis, and VOX/Snow Oman/Magic Planet. The event is produced by TTV and Manzana Events, with the quizzes meticulously researched and hosted by quizmaster Deepa Swaminathan.
Filming happened in June 2024 at the prestigious Downe House Muscat.
