The first episode of the much-anticipated T Quiz League Season 1 has officially been released, and is set to capture the attention of quiz enthusiasts across Oman. Filmed at the elegant Downe House Muscat in June 2024, the inaugural episode features a riveting face-off between ABA Oman International School and Indian School Darsait, setting the tone for what promises to be a season filled exciting moments and edge-of-the-seat quizzing action.

The T Quiz League brings together 15 of Oman’s top schools in a 15-team, double-elimination format, guaranteeing that every team has to lose twice before they are out of the competition. This structure, spread across 28 episodes, ensures that each match is packed with tension and opportunity, as teams vie for supremacy in the quizzing arena.
Round 1: Good Times
The competition begins with the "Good Times" round, a timed-direct question round. Here, each team faces as many questions as possible worth 10 points, with no penalties for incorrect answers. This round allows teams to score early and build momentum.
Round 2: Testing Times
The second round, "Testing Times," is where the quiz takes a strategic turn. In this category-based round, teams have the power to challenge their opponents in difficult categories, risking negative points for incorrect answers. This round is not just about what you know, but how well you can outthink your opponents, making it a critical phase of the quiz.
Round 3: Nick of Time
The final round, "Nick of Time," is the buzzer round—a fast-paced and nerve-wracking segment where reflexes are just as important as knowledge. Teams must be quick to buzz in and answer, with the chance to overturn the entire game in a matter of seconds. This round is a true test of composure under pressure and can make or break a team's chances of advancing.
