Rio 2016: Inside the Olympic torch

The torch is the most emblematic element of the relay, where the flame is passed from hand to hand, from Greece to the city where the games are held. Each torch has its own design, colours and materials. The first had a classic style torches and remained greater variation to the particular design in Mexico 1968, from then on has been evolving its design with most modern and impressive concepts. Without losing creativity by creators, its design is also an engineering sample, as each country must hand in its design technological capabilities to keep the flame burning despite the weather.
