Classes suspended in North Al Sharqiyah due to expected rain

Muscat: Due to the rainfall forecast in the Sultanate of Oman from April 23-25, 2024, classes will be suspended and converted to distance learning in all schools in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate on Tuesday, April 23,2024.

Oman News Agency (ONA), reported that due to the likely rainfall from April 23-25 in the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, it has been decided to suspend classes in all schools in the governorate (government, private and foreign) and to transfer studies remotely on Tuesday, April 24,2024 . Classes will resume in schools on Wednesday, April 24th.

"For the rest of the northern governorates, the general directors of these governorates are given the authority to evaluate the weather situation and take appropriate decision to ensure the safety of students and the educational staff," ONA added.
