Muscat: The main committee to survey the sighting of the Shawwal crescent for the year 1445 AH will meet on Tuesday evening April 9, 2024, at the General Office of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA).
The committee meeting will be chaired by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
The Ministry called on citizens and residents to investigate the sighting of the crescent moon in cooperation with the respective field teams in the wilayats, or to contact the subcommittees in the offices of Their Excellencies the governors.
