Weather forecast: Isolated rainfall expected to continue across Oman

Muscat: Isolated rainfall of varying intensity is expected over the coastal and mountainous parts of several governorates of the Sultanate of Oman on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, said Oman Meteorology.

Forecasts indicate continued chances of isolated rain of varying intensity today, Wednesday, over the coastal and mountainous parts of the Governorates of North Al Batinah, Musandam, South Al Batinah, Muscat, and South Al Sharqiyah, and parts of the Governorates of North Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliyah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar.

The weather is expected to gradually stabilise around evening or by night. There are chances of low clouds flowing over the coastal parts of the Sea of Oman may lead to scattered rain tomorrow morning, Thursday.

The Civil Aviation Authority calls upon people to be cautious, not to risk crossing valleys, and to avoid going to sea (Sea of Oman and the coasts of Musandam Governorate).
