Classes suspended for vocational colleges in Oman

Muscat: Due to the weather conditions that the Sultanate of Oman is witnessing, classes have been suspended at vocational colleges, except for the Vocational College in Salalah on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation said: "Due to the continuing effects of the depression, and out of the concern for the safety of its students, it was decided to suspend studies in vocational colleges, except for the Vocational College in Salalah. Classes in private higher education institutions will be conducted remotely as much as possible on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 AD, with the exception for Dhofar Governorate. Classes will resume on Wednesday, February 14, 2024."

Due to the weather conditions over a number of governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, Sultan Qaboos University has decided that today's classes, Tuesday, February 13, 2024, will be conducted online, work will continue as usual for employees. We urge everyone to take all necessary precautions and listen to any extra warnings announced by the concerned authorities.
