Four arrested for attempting to smuggle Khat into Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested four people for attempting to smuggle more than 30 boxes of the khat drug into Dhofar Governorate.

ROP said in a statement: "Coast Guard police boats led by the Dhofar Governorate Police arrested four people of Arab nationality while trying to smuggle more than 30 boxes of the khat drug. The legal procedures were completed against them."
