North-westerly winds to slam several parts of Oman, warns Meteorology

Muscat: Oman Meteorology warned of westerly/northwesterly winds in various parts of the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, leading to the dust storms and the force of the wind can push objects by moving them or knocking them over on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Oman Meteorology said in a statement :"Be aware and be careful of the activity of westerly/northwesterly winds in various parts of the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, which leads to the rise of dust and the flying of unstable objects. Currently, the wind speed at Saiq station reached 25 knots. "
