Muscat: Following the increased focus on cyber security in the region and the introduction of General Data Protection Regulation laws in the European Union, KPMG Lower Gulf has made a senior-level appointment to further strengthen and lead the firm’s cyber security practice. Timothy Wood has joined KPMG as an Associate Partner in the Advisory practice and will drive the firm’s cyber security and technology governance agenda in the UAE and Oman.
Wood has over two decades of experience in delivering complex technology-change programs for national governments and critical national infrastructure clients. He has also worked with companies to develop strategic responses to cyber threats, reduce cyber risk and enhance business resilience in the digital domain.
Wood joins KPMG from BAE Systems, where he was Regional Managing Director for the cyber-security and intelligence business in the Middle East.
