Muscat: Expats looking to fly home to Kerala in India to visit their friends and families can now buy cheaper tickets on Oman Air.

The country’s national carrier has announced an agreement with NORKA-Roots (the Department of Non Resident Keralites Affairs of the State of Kerala) to offer discounts to any Keralite in the Sultanate who carries with them a NORKA identity card, as well as their families.

A seven percent discount will be offered to all NORKA card holders, and will be available for use on all of Oman Air’s flights to Indian destinations, across all classes of travel.

Oman Air currently operates six daily flights from Muscat to Kerala – one to Thiruvananthapuram, three to Kozhikode and two to Kochi.
