Muscat: The Muscat Governorate will organise Muscat Dialogue Sessions 2023 on Monday in the presence of Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, the Governor of Muscat, Ahmed bin Muhammad Al Humaidi, the head of Muscat Municipality, members of the Shura Council and the Municipal Councils members.
Walis of the wilayats, their deputies, and representatives of government authorities in the governorate will also take part in the meeting.
The organisation of these sessions comes as part of implementation of the royal directive of His Majesty the Sultan. It also comes in support of the development process and the involvement of society.
Through these sessions, the governorate aims to seek ideas and suggestions. Additionally, it seeks to involve various groups in identification of projects with priority for each theme, and consideration of their implementation in accordance with the Oman Vision 2040.
The dialogue sessions will be implemented during three days and highlight subjects related to promising sectors that aim to achieve sustainable development.
On the first day, it will discuss the humanisation of cities, and the environmental volunteering works.
On the second day, the investment opportunities, technology and innovation will be discussed. On the third day, the concluding session will review the most prominent results and recommendations referred by an elite group of academics, entrepreneurs, specialists, and groups of youth, colleges and universities’ students.
It is worth-noting that these sessions come as a continuation of youth meetings and dialogues’ series that were implemented by Muscat Governorate in the past.
