Muscat: The President of the Federal Republic of Germany has left the Sultanate of Oman on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, after an official visit to the country that lasted three days.
His Excellency Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, and his wife left the country this morning after an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman that lasted three days, during which His Excellency met with His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik .
At the forefront of bidding farewell to His Excellency the guest and the accompanying delegation upon their departure from the Private Royal Airport was His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister.
Also present at the farewell were His Excellency Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, “Head of the Mission of Honor”, Her Excellency Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (the minister accompanying the guest’s wife), and Her Excellency Ambassador Maitha bint Saif Al Mahrouqi, the accredited ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federal Republic of Germany, and His Excellency Ambassador Dirk Lolke, the accredited Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Sultanate of Oman.
His Excellency the guest was accompanied by an official delegation that included His Excellency Dr. Tobias Lindner, Minister of State at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Ambassador Dirk Lolke, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Ambassador Wolfgang Silbermann, Director of Foreign Affairs in the Office of the Federal President, and a number of German officials.
