Two arrested for attempting to smuggle over 50 kgs of drugs into Oman

Muscat: Two smugglers were arrested for attempting to smuggle more than 57 kilograms of crystal meth, quantities of hashish, and psychotropic substance tablets across the sea into the Sultanate of Oman, Royal Oman Police (ROP), said.

"The Department for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, led by the North Batinah Governorate Police, arrested two infiltrators of Asian nationality while they were trying to smuggle more than 57 kilograms of crystal meth, quantities of hashish, and psychotropic substance tablets across the sea, " ROP said in a statement.
