17 arrested for trying to enter Oman illegally

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested 17 foreigners for attempting to enter the Sultanate of Oman illegally.

"The Coast Guard Police in North Al Batinah Governorate seized a boat carrying seventeen people of Asian nationalities while they were trying to enter the country illegally. The legal procedures were completed against them," ROP said in a statement.
