Philippine embassy in Muscat to close for a day

Muscat: The Embassy of the Philippines in Muscat announced that it will be closed on Tuesday, June 12, to commemorate the 120th anniversary of its independence.
The embassy will resume normal operations the following day.
"The public is hereby informed that the Philippine Embassy in Muscat will be closed on 12 June 2018 (Tuesday) to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Philippine Independence. The Embassy will resume its normal operations on 13 June 2018 (Wednesday)," the official statement read.
The embassy also invited the Filipino community in Oman to a flag-hoisting ceremony on June 12 at 6:00 am, taking place on its premises.
