Muscat : LuLu Oman launched its 'Celebrations of India' campaign to commemorate 76 years of Indian Independence. The week-long festival, coinciding with Indian Independence Day celebrations on August 15, will showcase the rich and diverse product range, culinary traditions and regional flavors of the country.
The event was inaugurated by HE Amit Narang, the Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, yesterday (9th August 2023) in the presence of officials from the Indian community and Lulu officials. The festival will be continued until the 16th of August 2023 at selected Lulu outlets across the Sultanate.
'Celebrations of India' will showcase the diversity of India, and this will be an opportunity for the people of Oman to enjoy the products and produce that are at the heart of Indian culture. Speaking during the inauguration, Ananth AV, Director – Oman, Sri Lanka and India of Lulu Group stated, “Every year, we organize Celebrations of India campaign to showcase a variety of Indian products.
