Police conduct traffic safety course for school bus drivers in Oman

Muscat: The Institute of Traffic Safety, led by Al-Dakhiliyah Governorate Police, concluded the “Foundational Qualification Course for School Bus Drivers,” which lasted for a week.

The General Directorate of Traffic said: “The course aimed at educating school bus drivers and how to deal with the road environment to ensure the safety of students when transporting them to and from schools.”

The Traffic Safety Institute, led by North Sharqiyah Governorate Police, also received a number of ambulance drivers at the General Directorate of Health Services in the governorate.

The visitors received a lecture on traffic safety, the tasks and specialisations of safety institutes and their efforts, and the mechanism of action of vehicle driving simulators, and their importance.
