Muscat: The Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) has received on Monday, July 31, 2023, the Chief of Naval Staff of the Republic of India at Al Murtafa'a Camp.
Rear Admiral Saif bin Nasser Al-Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman, received today in his office at the Al Murtafa'a Camp, Lieutenant General R. Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff of the friendly Republic of India, who is currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.
Upon the guest's arrival at the headquarters of the Royal Omani Navy, a group of the honor guard gave the military salute, then the guest reviewed the honor guard.
The Staff Major General, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman, welcomed the visiting guest and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, views were exchanged and a number of issues of common interest were discussed, especially in the maritime fields and ways to enhance them.
The meeting was attended by Commodore Mohammed bin Hamoud Al Zadjali, Chief of Staff Officer, Brigadier General Staff Engineer Abdullah bin Nabhan Al Kharousi, Director General of Administration and Human Resources, a number of senior officers of the Royal Navy of Oman, and the military attache at the Embassy of the Republic of India in Muscat.
