Muscat: The Oman Hajj mission returned to the Sultanate of Oman from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 , after providing its services to the Omani pilgrims in the Holy Land while they were performing the rituals of Hajj.
The members of the mission were received upon their arrival at Muscat International Airport, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, His Excellency Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia accredited to the Sultanate of Oman, and a number of officials at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
This year, the mission was headed by Sultan bin Said Al Hinai, and its membership included a delegation of fatwas and religious guidance, an administrative and financial delegation, a delegation supervising Hajj companies, a medical delegation, a delegation from the State's Financial and Administrative Audit Institution , a delegation from the Royal Oman Police, a media delegation, and a scout delegation.
The Oman Hajj mission left the Sultanate of Oman on the June 14, 2023, and during its presence in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and the holy places, it served the Omani pilgrims and supervised their performance of the rituals easily and easily.
The share of the Sultanate of Oman for the season 1445 AH was 14,000 pilgrims. It has received the preliminary arrangements document for the upcoming Hajj season in cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which includes the share of each country.
