Muscat: The three-day 5th annual International Medical Tourism Exhibition and Conference (IMTEC Oman, 2018) opened at Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, at Al Irfan District, Muscat on Tuesday.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition and conference, organised by East Expo, was sponsored by Dr. Saleh bin Salim Al Rahbi, Secretary General of H.M the Sultan’s Advisor’s Office.
The first day of the conference included a number of lectures and working papers on the subject of medical tourism.
The scientific programme of the conference includes a number of specialised sessions on the different types of injuries and how to treat them.
The conference will also review the therapeutic tourism in India, Malaysia, and Thailand, as well as health insurance and its profits in improving quality healthcare.
A number of international speakers from U.S.A, U.K, India, Malaysia, and Iran with the participation of speakers from Khoulah Hospital, National Heart Center, Al Nahdha Hospital, Sohar Hospital, Omani Council for Medical Specialty and private hospitals will take part in the conference.
