A delightful chicken curry recipe with a world of flavour.
1 cup yogurt
½ cup fresh coriander paste
2 green chillis, finely chopped
1 Tbsp ginger garlic paste
Salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 kg boneless chicken, cubed
1 Tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
½ cup onion paste
In a bowl, stir together the yogurt, coriander paste, green chillis, ginger garlic paste, salt, and pepper until smooth. Add the chicken and rub this spice paste into it. Refrigerate to marinate for 2 hours.
In a pan over medium heat, heat the oil.
Add the onion paste. Sauté until golden brown.
Add the marinated chicken. Reduce the heat to low and cook until the meat is tender and cooked through.
Season with garam masala powder and coriander powder.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Serve hot with roti or rice.
