Dhul Hijjah moonsighting confirmed, first day of Eid Al Adha falls on Wednesday

Muscat: The Main Committee on sighting the crescent moon of Dhul Hijjah 1444 AH has announced that the moonsighting was confirmed this evening. Thus, the first day of Eid Al Adha (10 Dhul Hijjah 1444 AH) will fall on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

A statement to this effect was issued by the moonsighting committee at the end of its meeting held at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs on Sunday.
