Three Islamic countries announce first day of Eid-Al-Adha
Muscat: Three Islamic countries have announced that the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah cannot be seen today.
Today, Sunday, Malaysia announced that it was not possible to see the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. Thus, tomorrow, Monday, will be the completion of the month of Dhu al-Qi`dah, and Wednesday, June 28, will be the day of Arafat's standing, and Thursday, corresponding to June 29, will be the first day of Eid al-Adha.
It is noteworthy that, Indonesia and Brunei also revealed that it was also impossible to see the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah.
In the same context, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs is preparing, shortly, to survey the crescent of the month of Dhul-Hijjah for the year 1444 AH, through which the date of Arafah Day and the date of the first days of Eid Al-Adha for the year 2023 will be determined.
It is scheduled that several Gulf, Arab and Islamic countries will soon announce the date of Eid Al-Adha.
