Muscat: With the participation of more than 35 specialists from the countries of the region, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) organised the monthly regional weather and climate forum 2023.
During the forum, sudden floods and watersheds were discussed, and the latest data and analyses of the tropical state in the Arabian Sea (Biparjoy) were presented.
The Director General of Oman Meteorology, Abdullah Al Khadoori, said in a tweet commenting on this meeting: “In the interest of promoting knowledge transfer and exchanging experiences, the Civil Aviation Authority, represented by Oman Meteorology, established the initiative of the monthly regional weather and climate forum.”
He confirmed that this forum provides monthly international remote lectures that discuss the experiences of the countries of the region on various topics such as meteorology, climate and early warning.
