Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman's Civil Aviation Authority has issued the latest update on the tropical situation in the Arabian Sea and said that there are chances of high clouds advection over the Sultanate within the next 5 days. The tropical deep depression is expected to intensify to cyclonic storm - Biparjoy, said the CAA.
A statement issued online by Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) represented by Oman Meteorology said that the latest satellite images show intensification of the tropical deep depression to tropical storm - Biparjoy, located south central of the Arabian Sea, nearly 1160 km east of the coast of Oman.”
The statement pointed out that the tropical storm is likely to intensify to tropical cyclone, category 1, after three days and the expected movement is to the north, central of Arabian Sea.
