Hajj Checklist: Are you carrying these essentials in your first-aid kit?

Muscat: If you are going to Hajj this year, there are 17 types of medicines and pharmaceuticals that can be used to treat some of the common health emergencies and conditions.

Dr. Saleh bin Saif Al Hinai said through his official account on Twitter: "You will need some medicines and pharmaceuticals to treat some of the common diseases in Hajj. Here are 17 medicines and pharmaceuticals:- 

1. Antiseptic gel for wounds and burns such as: Higeen

2. Cream for fungus and chafing such as: Travacort

3. Gel for joint and muscle pain, such as: Voltaren

4. Gel for mouth and tongue ulcers, such as: Bonjela

5. Colic pills such as: Buscopan

6- Nausea and vomiting lactab such as: Dompy.

7. Diarrhea capsules such as: Imodium

8. Pain reliever such as: Olfen

9. Syrup for constipation such as Duphalac

 10. Constipation pills such as: Dulcolax

11. Heartburn pills, such as: Famotidine

13. Capsules for acidity such as: Omeprazole

14. Oil for abrasions and eczema such as: Luqman oil

 15. Pills for fever and headache, such as: Pandol

16. Sunscreen cream such as: Moisturizing Foot Cream

17. Pills to delay menstruation, such as: Primolut N. Women take one tablet (5 mg) 3 times a day, 3 days before the date of the menstrual period, for a period not exceeding 14 days. "
